About FOWA

Friends of the Watertown Salvation Army, Inc.

Who We Are

Friends of the Watertown Salvation Army (FOWA) is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to amplify the impact of the Salvation Army's Watertown, New York corps.

We are a dedicated group of community members, business leaders, and volunteers united by a shared belief: that every person in our community deserves access to food, shelter, and hope — regardless of their circumstances.

FOWA raises funds, builds awareness, and coordinates community support so that the Watertown Salvation Army can continue its vital work serving our neighbors in need. We organize events, manage donor relationships, and partner with local businesses to ensure resources reach those who need them most.

We are not the Salvation Army. We are friends of the Salvation Army — independent advocates who believe in their mission and want to see it thrive in our community.
